Whales, Bears and Glaciers
A Photo Tour with Don Paulson

through Dolphin Charters
June 18 to June 27, 2010 Ketchikan to Juneau
Join Don Paulson and Dolphin Charters for an unforgettable Alaskan adventure. Based aboard the Delphinus, a comfortable, 50-foot custom trawler, this trip does it all! We'll begin in Ketchikan and cruise (weather permitting) to Kasaan, a native village with an incredible totem park and a traditional long house on an old village site. We will cruise through Frederick Sound and the very best humpback whale area en route to Pack Creek and grizzly bears! Pack Creek and Windfall Harbor on Admiralty Island are wonderful for observing brown bears and their playful cubs who've only recently emerged from their dens and are busy foraging on sedges and shellfish. We'll focus on the needs and desires of the group and immerse the photographer in the wildlife and photographic highlights of Southeast Alaska. The possibilities are endless!
This trip is ideal for photography enthusiasts. You will photograph alongside professional nature photographer Don Paulson, both on shore and aboard the Delphinus.
