Join Don Paulson, (Barbara Jordan & Ellen Anon) and Dolphin Charters for an unforgettable Alaskan adventure. Based aboard the Delphinus, a comfortable, 50-foot custom trawler, this trip is designed with a special emphasis on photographing whales and bears. We’ll begin in Hoonah and cruise through Icy Straight, Chatham Strait and Frederick Sound for the very best humpback whale areas in Southeast Alaska. We will visit two outstanding Bear Preserves; Pack Creek for grizzlies and Anan Creek for black bears and grizzly bears! Our goal is to immerse the photographer in the wildlife and photographic highlights of Southeast Alaska, including a jet boat trip up the Stikine River. With Barbara Jordan, Ellen Anon, and Don Paulson to help with composition, Photoshop and technical issues, and a 2:I student/instructor ratio, the learning
opportunities as well as the good times are boundless.

Based aboard the Na’walak, a beautiful 54-foot pilothouse ketch, you will experience and photograph the unique beauty and sunny weather of Washington’s San Juan Islands.  The alluring charm of this archipelago is expressed both in its natural landscapes, and its diverse wildlife. Grass and moss carpeted hillsides give way to graceful madronas and sculpted firs. This trip is coincides with the peak wildflower bloom that fill the meadows. A variety of trails provide great opportunities for discovery. A sunny overlook, a hidden cove, a quaint one-room school house, or an abandoned lighthouse are among the myriad treasures to be found.
