Summer Silhouette

From my home near Seabeck, wild places of the Olympic Mountains speak to me in ever changing moods. Shadow and silhouette pull me up to those ridge lines and mountain tops where beyond I know is a vast sea of ridge lines and mountain tops, each outlined in ebony and shades of blue. Up there, on some lofty perch, I could shed the din and tension of a city day.
